As I search my memory, I recall a time when "most" knights belts were white macrame, and most knights chains were bought at hardware stores. (Changing modern fashion has made it possible to buy them elsewhere now- it was impossible then.) I do believe that it was economy which led to these traditions. (Oh ye new members, remember that there was a day when the most resplendant of laurels wore 77 cent a yard taffeta because it was all that she could afford.) Does anyone have any good sites for mens sterling silver neck chains? (18 or 20" in length)? I have done google searches but I'm not really fidning anything interesting.
