First thing I thought was 'another bloody troll', but then I went to the
site and was gobsmacked.
Someone really has to take this boy by the hand and tell him that he's out
of his depth, when he's out of the pool. With all that 'swishy' (thanks for
that word crispy) jewellery on, HE looks like one of the angels...

dear oh dear.

There's a running bet at work here that Thorpe's a closet. He's too good to
be a snag ;)

Geez - cna I get in on that pool. I've got a lazy $50 that he'll be a
'headline' in the next year or two... (not that it's any of our business),
but it'd be a shame if he was in the closet because of the 'supposed' impact
it'd have on his career/profile. He's still only young so maybe he's still
coming to terms with himself.

To me it's totally irellevant whether he is or he isn't.

It just shows had bad it is to be gay - still. You can't get on because of
the biggotry, inspite of any amazing ability other than entertainment.

People ask why there are "Gay Gamez" happening at the Olympic venues this
year in Sydney, in Novemeber? That's why - because inspite of all the
amazing headway that's apparently been made in having minority groups
acceptable to the right, white biggots, it hasn't really changed anything
(cue Church doctrines/Dogma).

It's like a parent that can't stop blaming themselves for their gay child -
"I can accept it, but I'll never understand it".

Poor Thorpie. He's a supreme athelete (as was Greg Luganos - the diver).
He's relatively good looking and a bit of a chickie magnet. He has huge feet
(which people suppose about). He's creative and models (which people are
betting on) and he's in the public spotlight all the time. Poor state to be
in for a 18 year old if he's wrestling with any teenage angst/hormonal
issues.

Like I said - I don't give a toss, and I hope he is and if he does, then it
will once and for all blow some people's preducises out of the water. But
than again I don't see many Rugby people supporting Ian Roberts because he
came out either.

Women are usually pretty good at picking the doubtfuls - the wife
reckons he's 100%.

I get occasional gaydar pings from him, but nothing major. It's no bother if
he is or isn't. And it *really* shouldn't matter to anyone else either.

Heheh,

The latest I heard is that he already has his lawyers prepared for a
defamation case against any journo who calls him a closet.

Stay in the pool Ian.

Possibly ;) That says he's capable of left hemisphere "creativity" to me. I
get it more (gaydar pings) from the way he smiles and talks when he's
smiling. Pathetic really, but that's the way I see it directly.

I see it other things he does such as the modelling, BUT I do know a lot of
str8 male models that are very "tough" on homosexuals in their business.

Lets read between the lines and get ourselves sued like Jason Donovan and
The Face ;)

Correction: that's Right Hemisphere creativity.
