Hello people, quick question for ya (and I have checked the SFRAQ, honest, it's not in there, though I'm sure people ask it lots). Having just realised that I actually live just down the road from Brentford, I was wondering: Does the Flying Swan actually exist? Or is there a pub that is generally accepted to be the 'inspiration' for the Swan? If so, where is it? And if not, bugger. ... (more) |

The family of Robert McCartney yesterday challenged Sinn Féin's commitment to bringing his killers to justice after it emerged that one of the party's election candidates was in the bar in Belfast on the night he was murdered.
