I just purchased a set of hammer head darts and although I am very satisfied, the points keep unscrewing from the barrel even after I tighten them with a wrench. Someone recommended using a dab of clear nail polish on the threads. Anyone have any recommendations? Also, will the threads on the inside of the barrel get stripped over time if the point is lose upon impact with the dart board...? ... (more)

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned the 30-40% bounce out rate that I was having with my new "present" of a Halex soft-tip dart board. After talking to the people at my Local Dart Store they suggested using "Shorty" tips. And it works!!! After approx 300 darts, Maybe 5 have actually bounced out. I'm quite supprised. While the Halex board is nowhere near the quality of an Arachnid Arcade unit, for $18 and 15 games with variations, it's not a bad deal. ... (more)

I've started throwing darts again after many years. I saved my 'stuff' all these years, including shafts, and a large assortment of flights. I recently ordered some additional darts supplies, including flights. I notice that ALL the flights I find are of the "HARD POLY" variety, which I find hard as nails and steel-stiff. ... (more)

Clear DayI have been playing darts for about 3 years and am one of the better players in my area. I have all of a sudden "lost confidence" a couple weeks ago. I have missed doubles horribly, and my average has dropped drastically. One of the biggest tournaments of the year is 3 weeks away.
