I have a set of Black Widows that I have only thrown with for about a month (22 gram moving point), and for the second time in about three weeks I have had a shaft (Alamo) snap off so that just the threads are left in the dart. The last time it happened I just went to the local dart shop and they took it out for me. I didn't think it was going to happen again so soon so I didn't ask about a tool that removes broken shafts. For those of you who throw with moving point widows (or Voks) - How often does this happen? I would hate to snap a shaft in a match and not be ... (more) |

Hey all I am doing a design project, and would appreciate some help. Has anyone got any ideas on suitable materials for the following? After reading a couple excerpts pertaining to atlatls (shown below), I sought to find information concerning the Asian spear throwers.
