You said that soft-tip dart boards are "stupid" then apologize? Yes, soft tip darts are good quality. I throw 16gm bottlesen (sp?) GT's. I can also put my hammerhead tips in them. I've modified them slightly by putting on shafts that are a bit longer than stock. Black Widow soft tip darts are also now available. That seems to be a major complaint about soft-tip boards. Yes, soft tip darts are good quality. I throw 16gm bottlesen (sp?) GT's. I
can also put my hammerhead tips in them. I've modified them slightly by

Why is there a prejudice against soft-tip players on this group and supposedly in the world? It would seem to me that darts are darts, so long as you play seriously and ethically, what is the possible difference? I am a soft tip player, play in a league once a week, and I don't think that I am any different from a steel-tip person. I play darts to enjoy myself with a few friends, have a brew or two, and to generally relax. Is my darting experience lessened by the fact that I don't have to score it myself. I know how to, but having the machine do ... (more)

I have one, a model currently available at sporting goods stores, but I made the grim mistake of throwing away the manual too soon. If you have a gray-cased scorer with red and black buttons and know what the "option" light is for, please let me know. I've never seen it come on, and I can't contact the company because there's no name on this thing -- it's by General Sportcraft, and that's all it says. Odd, ain't it? ... (more)
