Hey everyone,

I am wondering where there are electronic dart boards in Austin. I found
one at Slick Willies on Burnett but that was only one. I am looking for
a few somewhere so people don't have to wait for people like me
learning. I know the darts purest will wince at the ELECTRONIC boards
but its easier for a beginner like me to get started and keep score. ... (more)

I was wondering about dart boards. What is the difference
between "wound papaer" and "bristle" dart boards? Are there any other
kinds (aside from the electronic ones)? How are they constructed?
Who makes good dart boards?
I realise that some of these questions may spark a relgious
war, but I am interested in people's opinions.

I'm so tired of going to tournaments and dealing
with all the dart board problems. There really
should be some consistency in our sport. Perhaps
we need some sort of athletic committee to oversee
the placement and structure of all dart boards.

I'm thinking about getting an electronic dart board and was interested
in hearing the groups thoughts about them. I have a board now that I
use for soft and steel tips when I have some friends over. I'm not a
serious player and only play at home with friends but thought it would
be fun to have an electronic machine.
